Narrative school essay is a kind of written paper where a writer tells his/her story about his/her personal experience. Right now I am going to present you several methods of achieving this effect.

  • Do not let the reader loose the track of what was going on in your story. If you present several stories at one and the same time, your reader will concentrate on one of them. So, try your best to define the time and the place of the story to make the reader understand the interrelation of different events;
  • Try to make “a story within a story”. For example, the narration may come from the 1st person singular who is telling the story that happened in the past. This literature device is called framing. If you want to get the idea of this device, try to remember your impressions from the film where a person is telling a story that happened with anybody in the past, for example “Alexander”;
  • Use the fantasy elements as well. Thus, you will make your school essay more complicated and more interesting.
